kind of a dumb question here, but I was going to give my dad's 99 s70 awd a quick oil change, but the transfer case is right behind the drain plug, leaving no room for a ratchet or breaker bar ..
soooo do you guys just use a regular wrench when doing your oil change? I can't seem to fit any of my tools in there... pretty damn annoying and that sucker is on there tight

thanks, its at 287k, my dad put over 200 on it himself .. if only I could drain the oil ... lol... going to borrow a smaller 3/8 breaker bar tomorrow I guess,.. hopefully thatll do it ..

I just use a 17 mm wrench and pop it off....itll splash a little of of the angle gear but its ok

thanks guys.. little breaker bar did the trick .. replaced the drainplug with a spare as it had started to round off a bit.

sometimes you have to ask a stupid question to have that oh duh moment .. this was one of those times I guess..
