Vented Or Sealed Battery?

i need a new battery, what is the difference between the sealed and vented battery besides price? which should i use? does it really matter?

They shouldn't be much of a price difference since both sealed and vented are the same battery. Unless you are taking lead acid vs AGM.

i called pep boys asked what they had for my car, told me they had a sealed for $109 and a vented for $154..i wasnt sure what i needed
isnt there the regular acid batteries and gel batteries?

Sorry, there was a lot more to that but I'm on my phone and it posted before I finished.
You don't need to bother with gel and the AGM will only really help if your vehicle sits a lot. As AGM only discharges at about 1-3% per month.

so a sealed battery would be fine?
where do you get interstate batteries?
i cant just order it online, i need to start driving this car thursday, it was sitting 3months and i tried to charge the battery but it wont hold the charge, charger says battery is fully charged, starts car once then wont start it again.
