Move the radiator outside the case. I would also install a small 80mm or so fan on the bottom blowing up to help cool the chipsets on the MOBO since you went passive. Otherwise their own heat and the GPU will cook them.

Getting a new case for xmas, so I'll be able to rework the air flow then. The shitty part about these liquid cooling setups is you can't disconnect the hoses and put the radiator outside the case. I do have two fans mounted to either side of the radiator exhausting the heat though

Not for exhaust, for flow. Two fans on the back will pull between the radiator and case. Simple 60mm fan on the chip set allow me to over clock by over 10% more. That is a pretty janky WC wet up if its one piece non servicable. Workstation next to me is double pass 120x360x40 lol.

Had to build it for $1000, and it works well, cpu idles around 17c - 18c and maxes out at around 60c

When I get the money I'm going to do a real liquid cooling setup with 13mm ID hoses, a 120x480x60 radiator and cool the cpu, chipset, gpu and power components that around the cpu

I've got this case coming: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16811144204

It was the gaudiest color I could find aside from pink, and the price is great.

This. That's the problem with getting rid of the fan on the CPU cooler, since you're leaving all the surrounding components (voltage regulators, chipset) to cool passively.

i5-2500K @ 3.3 (stock)
Gigabyte Z68AP-D3
16GB Corsair DDR3
Corsair 64GB SSD
Lian-Li PC-6 case
Dual head GeForce 8600 GTS
Dual head ATi FireGL V3400
Some 500W PSU

I either need to ditch the optical drive, or get a Lian-Li bezel that matches.

A bit annoyed with the 80mm fans in the front of the case, since the LC-6 case is older. Want a new new Lian-Li case, but can't justify spending $200 on one.

you run nvidia and ati on the same computer?

with new case I'm going to mount the radiator up on the top of the case and push/pull straight out the top

Yep, no issues at all. I'm using the 2nd card for a 3rd monitor, so it doesn't need to do anything special. Don't play games, so that's not a concern.

Best looking case out there in my opinion. Also it is quite as hell. It's the Fractal R3 Define.
That's a generic pic I posted don't have a good pic of mine yet, just brought it a couple of weeks ago.

Next round of mods for me are a new gpu and ssd.

i like it. It has some pros and cons though. As said before it cant be located just anywhere you want since its closed loop non serviceable system. So your stuck with the length of the tubes and also the holes of the case. I would have liked to do a radiator on the outside of the case, but it works fine inside. Im running push pull (4 fans) exhausting out from the top. My case has mounting for a radiator on the top so i was fine with that. Other people arent as lucky with there cases. Its very easy to install, not to mention upgrade friendly since the other units i believe use the same back bracket.

Bottom line, its cheap compared to some other water cooling options, has a long warrenty and if it leaks they will replace damaged components (i think on hardforums they did this for someone). This was an important issue for me, since if i did something myself, and it leaked i could be out a grand or more. It seems to produce very nice cooling numbers. Some people argue that you can get same temps with air, but air at those temps is very loud. This thing is very quite from what i was running before.

If your lazy, and want a drop in watercooling unit. Then this is your answer (or atleast was awhile back)
