so being my S70 is pretty much a "commuter warrior", bumpers take a bit of abuse during commuting and city parking. I know a few fabricators and have thought about maybe getting some tube bumpers made. I'd try to come up with something that follows the lines, looks like it fits in nicely but in a evil commuter sorta way.
Any thoughts, ideas, or similar brain farts?

Being the paint looks like chit anyway, I've thought this might be an interesting direction to go with the car. Also with the potholes and crappy roads I hit, I'd also actually thought of looking at some off road'ish treaded tires.
Hell, BFG All T's or Mud T's if they make a size that would roll well under it.

Probably wont get much support on the theory on here. Volvo sacrilege kind of thing. I wouldnt go as far as tube bumpers but a police car style push bar might work. Here's the "zombie wagon" we're working on for my girlfriend. It's 1" square aluminum tubing. Too light cosmetically though so we'll go more heavy duty soon.

But what you made and what he is talking about is two totally different things.

Yeah, I had to look closer, at first I thought they were pole holders.

Hmm, I wonder if Bushwhacker makes fenders for Volvo's......
