Starting with a low res photo from facebook in the process of conversation, and just for fun, Jeremy and I started tossing ideas over the coffee table with photoshop open on a 65" monitor. We ended up with a funky colored hybrid photo and it turned out something like this...

thats called "selective coloring" FYI...thankfully not nearly as abused as HDR but still up there...

That sounds like a proper term...we had only seen it done by others a number of times, and with my advertising/marketing background, I only know enough Photoshop to be dangerous, but it was fun none the less. What is the HDR you are referring to?

That is hot. Love how you found a spot without any signs of civilization - well, other than the pavement and curb.
