NOPI Nats were an amazing time. We went on the Super Street Tour back in 99 as part of our honeymoon and got in the magazine numerous times and snagged a 2nd place trophy in the Ford class with our 95 Escort.

The Scort after the graphics came off and with the winter wheels on it...sold her shortly after this pic was taken.

In show trim...also take note Jer...no black wheels...lol

I was just born in 92' hahaha. First car I modded was a 91 Mustang LX super base model. Threw some 17" Konigs on it. Stereo.... Yeah small mods, but it looked good.

in 99 i went down in a convertible m3 on the super street tour. we left during hurricane floyd. took 4 hours to get out of the metro philly area, a job that usually takes 10 minutes due to flooding...go figure.

i did super street in 97 98 and 99, that was a insane run. import tuner dudes as far as the eye can see.

Still love the Escort GT's. I had a 1986 Escort GT when I lived in Timmins. Talk about rally car. LOL

Love the Beetle, so cool B)

The first car I whacked with the mod stick was my Donktastic Euro-import 500SEL in highschool. 2003, back when bling was "in", and block-shaking sound systems weren't just for attention whores.

If I was to ever do it again I'd go this route:

But I think I've had my fill of big-body automatic V8 sedans..

Even if it was trendy, you were still an attention whore.

Just the first car that hooked you on modding them. If your parents gave you an old RWD Volvo and it sucked and you had no desire to mod it then you saved up for an FWD Volvo to mod, then just pics of the second one. :D

not my first car but my second. i had it lowered on tokico struts and tein springs. i wanted to keep it as factory as i could. so many dudes were swapping in ZE motors and FD rims and i wasnt into that. i can honestly say that was my favorite car. i had a 2.0 5th gear so i was getting awesome gas mileage. say what you want, it was a sweet car.

I always liked them. I would like to see a BMW 850-themed Probe. It could be done.

We were there too Steve...got into Newark Delaware the night before and slept in the cars until the state po-po's kicked us out. We made it as far as Washington DC and then followed a group of locals inland to another highway and then hooked back up with everyone at the Yokohama plant in W.Virginia. That was a fun trip...the crazy girl from Super Street was hanging out with us all the time because we were newlyweds...lol
I had a different Escort on that tour though...it was a black/yellow 95. It sadly got totalled a short time after when we got home.

We ended up skipping the Beemer plant with a smaller convoy of about 20-25 cars that day after the stop in Charlotte at that tuner shop.
