Staying in Leavenworth for the weekend is what made it worth doing, that part was a pretty good time. Hopefully this year there is no construction ruining the drive over.

Lets hope so!

Staying overnight is kinda worthless for those under 21 :glare:

Womp womp womp. That's why I decided to turn 21 in November! Its okay though, I've been twice and this is the first time I will be "of age". The first year, we did the drive and back home to Portland in one day. Long ass day. And last year we stayed in Yakima and took the Eastern HWYs down to the Gorge and then back to Portland. Such a beautiful drive.

What kind of fun +21 stuff is there to do afterhours in Leavenworth? Where's a good place to stay (not to expensive, but not too trashy either)?

Its a Bavarian themed town so I would assume that there many good hang out spots. I plan on just latching on to a few of my friends who have gone for a few years.

I am thinking about staying in the Adventure Inn or the Bavarian Ritz.

I think it was the Leavenworth Village Inn that I stayed at last year. Its more on the end of the town, but you can still walk to everything. Was nice to be able to get away from the crowds when you were done being in them. I dont recall the cost, but it was super clean, which means something in my house, because Amy is a little OCD when it comes to that.

What car were you in last year? :o :D :P

Touche' (I kind of forgot that part...)

If I go this year it will be in a FWD car. I might stay in Leavenworth but can't say for sure.

I'm not sure exactly...

I have no idea what I was thinking when I wrote that (or I didn't write it ).

Oh, well if it's over 1000 then I will be okay with it.

Perhaps we need to have a smaller, more intimate, Volvo only cruise.

Normally that happens. The Volvos tend to stick in a group.

Is that elitism or safety in numbers?

Safety in numbers plus we tend to know each other.
