So, I was wondering if I should wait until CEL shows before replacing O2 sensor or go ahead and replace it since my xc90 has 102K miles. Any opinions..thanks!

If its not running funky, and no CEL has popped up. Just wait.
But its never a bad idea to do preventive maintenance.

O2 sensors aren't a maintenance item. When you get a CEL or the car starts having issues attributable to the O2 sensor then replace it. When it starts to fail you'll know and it won't cause other damage if it does fail.
