Ive ran it up to 20psi before so its def capable of going over 15.
Check for leaks and your waste gate.
And did you adjust your timing per the tune?
your not running a boost controller? Manual or Electronic?
The blue tune with 18t should be at 18psi as well. since mine is.
I would check with lucky since he is the one who programs it.
Edit... Site says 18psi.
Blue - Tuned for 18psi and is intended for cars with either the 18T, 19T, or K24 turbo.

Do you have a wideband meter?
If you just installed the turbo, I'd wait like 100km before really beating on it...
I noticed that when I installed my 16T, it didnt boost well for the first few days of driving, it slowly started working better afterwards.
Maybe it had to oil up well lol, idk...
Enjoy the car!

Lol.. I will,,, the wastegate does seem very loose... I'm having it correctly adjusted today... I'm still not sure if it's cool for that turbo to have been red..? lol I know I have some vacuum leaks to take care of.. and I think I have a leak to the vacuum line going to the fuel pressure reg..?? or something... Keep bringing any suggestions! I appreciate it..
Did you adjust your timing per the site I link'd?
And do you have an wideband to monitor AFR's?

Turbos are designed to run red hot, why do you think turbo timers were invented? After driving like that remember to keep the car on to let oil flow through the turbo while it is cooling. If not the oil will sit in the turbo and 'cook'

and it being red is neither good or bad its just normal under heavy boost lol. your EGT's will reach over 1000 degrees F under full boost.

what kind of boost management are you running stock TCV... if so stock boost mangement is sub par if best IMO. i would reccomend you get a gizzmo IBC-R so you can really fine tune it. MBC are no good either as you will make boost way to fast good luck
