I lol'd....So true. And the funniest part is that you were wrong in their view because you never had that kind of setup, even though i dont recall ever seeing a stock LPT with a 50 trim or something like it here in the forums, thats the funniest part.

im gona do a build thread on my 50 trim setup in a few weeks so keep ur eyes peeled  lol

The coil that is sold for 850/v70 applications is not going to out perform the factory Bosch coil, unless the stock coil is failing...

as a bolt on modification ur absolutley rite. but you can adjust the Spark dwell time in the tuning making full use of the mod. if you wanted to upgrade ignition you get a MSD 6AL ignition u will get a better spark, more plug gap more power. but honestly you dont even need to consider those things yet thats for people who are getting blow out at high boost and big flow.i would get a 15g/16t and a stock t5 computer, get a hallman MBC 12-14psi and see how u like it. ive had a 15g at 16psi on my LPT for over a year and its still pretty nice but im goin 50trim. those are the best first mods for a GLT. but before you do anything please do a FULLt stage 0 and a compression check just to make sure everything is up to par befor you start building HP. but the coil is pretty much usless more of a cosmetic mod. the bosch is far better quality.

Since my build Ive only been running 10psi on my PTE 5031E(AKA 50 trim) and even at that low psi it would beat my old 18T stage 3 setup at 19-20psi. I did run 15psi a few times and 19psi once by mistake. What a differnce even 5psi made. Im just running on the basic Turbo Tuner tuned map.10psi is what I kept it at for the first 3K and its now off the road for winter anyways.

Point being... your car with the LPT at 14psi and tuned, with the 50 trim, should be a pretty quick car. Although.... you will always want to keep pushing more and more it as these turbos with the 63ar really start to wake up at 20psi ;)

^ with the 20g and the hybrid 60-1, every psi of boost increase equals over 10WHP, as evidenced in my dynologs from Carlisle from the past two years. Should be similar gains with yours.
