I've got the unit all hooked up, but what do I need to fill the gaps?

Make and model? If your DD didn't come with a factory trim plate in the box, check
with the manufactor and see if it's available. The factory trim, ( if you can get it ) will
have a perfect fit around the nose of the HU. That's usually the more challanging part
of the job. Then, if it needs it ( and it often does ) you just mod the outside to fit the dash.
Otherwise, you'll probably have to custom fab it from some ABS flat stock.

Should have came with trim pieces or check for a Metra double din kit for volvo.
