pita because it's difficult to navigate, or pita because people don't know how to utilize it?

It eats computer memory like a stoner on a bag of nacho cheese doritos. It got so bad on their latest revision that they needed to include a lite version buried in the directory. From an I.T. standpoint its horrible to administer, want it to integrate into an active directory domain IBM 's at that

Aside from the nerd end its just not a good client. Calendaring, mail management, navigation...its all just bleh

It's a nice idea to try and integrate your life in this one window. Browser, word processor, email, and much much more all in one. Even an IM client, to provide a way to send short snippets instead of emails for a single sentence. But the implementation still needs work. It's a lot to integrate in to one interface. Ends up feeling clunky and overwhelming.

But the memory problem is just absurd. Which results in pretty horrible performance unless you're on a heavily equipped system.

lolololol

But they are really referring to the outlook express that comes packaged with Windows, and bound to the mailto links. Don't confuse that piece of shit with the real Outlook. Not that the full feature one is any super star, but Outlook express is just that bad

Oh man I just started a new job. We use Lotus Notes. It works but it is not user friendly at all, lags, and a big cluster of information smack in your face. I would gladly use Outlook Express over it. We're also contractually obligated to use Word Perfect and a few other pieces of off brand software for office work. Not to be an MS fanboy, but they seriously make a superior product at this point (MS Office, don't know about Office Live). I don't see why people bother paying competitors unless they use open source stuff.
