i've been running an EST BBK for a couple of months now. the volans required a 15 0r 18mm spacer and peg reps require only a 5mm. that is all well and good but i still have issues with the tire hitting the fender and bending it a tiny bit as well as chewing up the plastic and the edge of the tires themselves. the tires are 215/45 17. i noticed that IPD claims no spacer needed with their kit (and their pegs) and so i wondered what the differences were in the mounting brackets or the rotors that allowed this? anyone out there who has seen both? i'm lowered as well which compounds the problem a bit. any way to run this without funking up my fenders and wells?

EST kit uses different rotors. IPD uses S60R rotors.
The EST Kit uses a 2 piece rotor, so the hats must be fairly thin. This has changed at some point because the EST kit used to come with the spacer built into the rotor hat.
You should roll your fenders and that will solve the problem. That is what I did.

Yeah, roll the fenders. That'll be the easiest solution. The IPD kit requires 15mm spacers if you're running Volans too. There's a lot more room behind the spokes of Pegs than Volans.
