Hi !
I have this annoying flare when I'm moving slow in traffic and the AW55 needs to shift to 3rd.
First of all it will pull 2nd like crazy with very very little throttle, and then when it does shift, it will sometimes flare, if I throttle up just when it wants to shift it will slip.
The gearbox fluid is new and is JWS 3309. I replaced thinking this is the problem but it didn't do anything.... My old fluid was fine anyway.
I have no light up on the dash, and generally the transmission is very very smooth ! But it's just that thing... It feels like the car was built that way and I hate it.

How do I know if there's a software update ? My dealer told me "no no theres no update" but I think he was just busy and trying to end the call.
Is there an update number from after 03 for this box ?

If that situation is normal with- AW55's then I can live with it, it's fine if you feel your way around it.... But I need to know

There is a TCM upgrade available for you model.

I would verify that your fluid level is correct, then pay to have the upgrade done at the dealer.

What is the TCM Upgrade number ? And when was it launched ?

Don't recall the part number, but your dealer will know how to retrieve the correct software. If the TCM upgrade has been done previously, the download will be refused.

TCM upgrades are available typically since day 1 of production, but over the years a few revisions have been made. Don't have the dates on when they were released.
