Really cool pictures!! What an ugly bird

We get a lot of deer and coyotes around here. For birds Hawks are really common.

Here in Big Sur there are people that study them and feed them. They have been helping them breed and reproduce. One of the nests is on the property. Its about 1/2 mile hike up the canyon. They lost a chick a couple years back and we haven't had much activity in the area, until recently. PG&E just spent about $4.5 mil burying the power lines that ran up the ridge above us because the condors would fly into them fry themselves.

Most of the footage in this video was filmed on the property.
