We are trying to replace the sensor on the rear of the trans that has the wires attached to it and goes to the trans wiring plug and we can't get the plug appart to replace the sensor ??? ANY TRICKS ???

Like most connector in this car, it has a tab that locks it in place iirc. It needs to be pressed while unplugging it. I suggest to use a telescopic mirror to find the lock-tab.
