On the S70? Mean both front ABS wheel speed sensors are not working or the ABS unit is not working.

if those sensors are out the ABS light should be on. You can read the ABS codes with Vol-FCR.
Most of the time the wires corrode right at the plug on the spindle. The sensors itself hardly ever go bad.

98s don't have a speed sensor at the trans.
That's only up to 95/96?!

The speed sensor code is just a generic code that you're getting through the OBD, so it's not going to tell you where the problem is. It's too vague.
You can do one of two things.
1. Get a multimeter and check resistance straight from the harness head to the sensor itself for continuity. Not hard and it only takes a few minutes. If all of the leads have continuity then you go after the sensors themselves.
2. Get it scanned by something that will read the ABS codes. Best course of action as it will point you directly to the problem.
Without doing one of the two, you're spending too much time looking for something that you aren't likely going to visually see. For any type of wiring/continuity issue you really have to use a meter. It doesn't have to be anything expensive, a $20 craftsman unit will work fine for you.
Is just your ABS light on, or ABS/TRACS?

shit why is this in performance modifications
You should have a light that says "TRACS OFF". The module that's on your car is a TRACS module, hence you should also have a TRACS button on the dash and a TRACS off light.
