Just out of curiosity would 15x9" wheels with a +0mm offset fit without too much rub in the back of an 850?

If you could mount them without altering that et0 then they really shouldn't sit ridiculously far out.

I'm going for stance here, a set of staggered wheels with a mild stretch, I just don't wanna bang up the fenders.

So you want to stance your car but don't want to have to touch the fenders? How do you intend to do such without modifying the fenders or rubbing or having a setup that fills out the wheel arches? This is confusing...

I apologize for the bad grammar and the statement that doesn't make sense, I just wanted to know if 15x9s would fit in the rear. I'm used to VWs and hondas and I've never heard of anyone doing anything to the fenders past rolling.

You want to be "stanced" on 15s? Sense....makes none.

Here's how your wheel compares to my 17x9.5 et24 RS. It sticks out a few mm further than I would and I am poking a few mm. So you would be poking quite a bit.

However, you wouldn't have to worry about rubbing, because it's a 15, you'll have about a foot of clearance between the wheel and the fender, especially if you want to stretch.

So what I'm gathering is that it would make sense to just go with a bigger wheel so I don't have like 5 inches of wheel gap. Sounds good to me

Well, yeah. I mean, it's a 15, just look at pictures of 850s with 15s. They're tiny. At least 17s or 18s.

Whatever you do, you'll need either coilovers w/ a custom rear set up or air, your IPD lowering springs aren't going to get you anywhere close, especially if you want "stance".
