Hi Guys,
My wife hit a basketball the other day with the front of her 2005 Volvo S60 2.5T AWD. Thankfully there wasn't a kid attached to the basketball... but the ball went under the front end and actually broke her passenger side fog light assembly. I purchased a new light assembly from the dealer (like everything else, they are proud of their lights...) and brought it home for what I thought to be a 30 minute project. However, as with many DIY projects, there is a hex screw at the very top of the assembly that is impossible to get too and I'm now at a standstill... I searched the net and haven't been able to come up with anything so do any of you know any tricks to get to this screw or do I need to take it to the dealer?
Thanks to any that reply.
Mark

How do I loosen the bumper on this model? Are the primary bolts located inside those small access pop-outs on the front (at each side) of the bumper?

Remove the push pin clips from the top of the radiator support, drill out the rivets on the side you wish to remove, pop the trim molding of the front, remove the bolt and slide the bumper forward.

Just remove the bottom protection cover. The light is held on with three screws/ bolts. Standard metric tools will work.
