anyone have pics where all the relays go? My car already had the j relays in it and I swapped the headlight relay but I can't identify where to put the jumper. I see where it goes, just don't know where on the panel. Does it replace an existing jumper or does it go in an empty slot? A pic would be awesome.

thanks

You might only need one J relay.

Where did it go? I'm installing fogs right now but haven't got to the relay part yet.

So I'm installing fogs on my car but ive found that what I believe to be stock wiring for the fog light connector is different to the connector on the light. The wiring diagrams I have show the fog light wires to be green/orange and black and green/orange and brown/black.

I can't think of what else the wires on my could be for? The connectors were both plugged into dummy plugs clipped to the bumper support. See pics below.

It's not an issue for me to solder on different connectors, I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Sorry for the iPhone pics

So the fog light switch powers on, but the connectors for the lights ( or what I assume is the connectors) get 5v regardless of headlight switch position or if the fog light switch is on or off.

I have done the "euro fog mod" to the jumper, could this be an issue with the CDN headlight switch since the daytime running light are always on? I have a US headlight switch I can try out, or I try undoing the euro fog mod to the jumper.

Thoughts?

I don't think those are the right connectors. They look like the connectors for the ambient temp sensor. Actually the black one looks to still have the ambient temp sensor plugged in. I thought all S70's were all wired for fogs, so the connectors you need should be there somewhere. There is a connector that is clipped to the washer reservoir on the passenger side, that might be the one. On the other side I think it is clipped to the inside of the bumper cover.

When I installed a second windshield washer reservoir (my original is used for meth) on the drivers side, I had to move the connector slightly. You can see it in this picture...

Just went out and had another look... you are correct, those weren't the fog light connectors. I found the actual connectors and should be good to go!

Ok I'm resurecting this thread. Ive got the lights in, grey control relay under the engine bay fuse panel in, j relay under dash in the brown spot in. Wtf else do I need. It's starting to piss me off. Can someone post pics of exactly what and where the relays are and go? There is no straightforward answers on the internet. And those terrible pdf diagrams make no sense.
Thanks in advance.
Cars a 98 v70 BTW.
