Long story short-
2000 S80 T6 Obtained Cheap...
165k on the clock....
Was diagnosed as having BHG and disassembled by a local shop not privy to Volvos.
Received car disassembled with all the parts in a box.
Got Cyl head cleaned and surfaced, new stem seals etc. Cleaned block, installed head, torqued, Cams Timed, Engine runs but not like I suspect it to. 120 psi compression throughout all 6 cyls and 125psi in cyl 6.
Engine has skip to it @idle. Removing the coil connector while engine is running from Cyls 1-4 and 6 severely effect the idle but Cyl 5 has no effect like its a Dead Cylinder. But I have mentioned it has 120 psi. I've checked the Coil and have swapped several coils and spark plugs (which it has those 4 prong platinum plugs which run like crap in my 850 R) to no change...I have also tested the Injector which also is working. This beats all I've ever seen...NO CEL, or other alarms (Except when I remove connectors codes pop up, and I clear them) Has anyone ever seen an issue like this? Good compression, all the necessary vitals but not effect when you unplug the Coil while the engine is running like the other 5 cyls do. What else could it be? Thanks

Possibly a vacuum leak? When you checked the injector, did you have it out to check the flow? If not, swap it with the one next to it and see if the miss follows.

WE are puzzled why any one would buy one.
"Property is the fruit of labor...property is desirable...is a positive good in the world. That some should be rich shows that others may become rich, and hence is just encouragement to industry and enterprise. Let not him who is houseless pull down the house of another; but let him labor diligently and build one for himself, thus by example assuring that his own shall be safe from violence when built." - Abe Lincoln

Do you consistently get a misfire code for #5?

The only time I get a Misfire code is when I pull the connector to the coil while its running.. no change in engine sound or vibration though..
