p0452 code came up yesterday, again last night, today, and again tonight after being cleared multiple times. Happens along with MAP/Baro sensor code, but i figure I just have to throw in a new sensor for that. What should I check for the evap code?

Causes
Possible causes of OBD code P0452
- The EVAP control system pressure sensor circuit is open or shorted - EVAP control system pressure sensor may be faulty The Error code is generally activated on detection of the following conditions: An excessively low voltage from the sensor is sent to ECM.

Possible Solutions

- Retighten gas cap - Replace EVAP Control System Pressure Sensor

On a '98 usually the purge valve for the EVAP system is a problem. It's found on the drivers side of the engine cooling fan at the top. A vacuum line comes from the intake and hooks to one side of this black valve, it also has a 2 pole connector. Also check the gas cap seal and make sure its not beginning to crack.

If your 98 has never had an evap overhaul. I'd check all rubber hoses, gaskets and Check Valves. (The purge valve is thought to be problematic but I didn't have a problem with mine)

Check my post as it has much information for the 98.
