Just Curious. Did Anyone Have A Set Of Those One Piece 850 Angel Eye Projector Headlights That Didnt Start Cracking?

I know I had 2 of the first sets and they both started to get fine cracks in the bends not 2 months after I put them on. Did anyone else find this to be the case? I see nobody is running them anymore.

Same here Ive had them on for almost 3 years now and im about to take the lenses off for a 7th time to wet sand and polish them..

Ive been trying to find some who knows where and how we could get GLASS lenses made..

But dont know If ill have them much longer if I do the 70 nose on the 854.. :ph34r:

I haven't had any issues with mine over the past few years.

gary, did you try a protection kit to prevent contraction/expansion of the acrylic?

have had mine for 2-3 years with no problem. The one thing I did was take some see-thru sealant and seal the entire edge of the lens so no moisture or air could get inside.

Generally speaking you want air to get in. That's what keeps them clear and not foggy. Poor circulation is what makes them fog.

Hmmm, not had that problem either. I assumed by sealing them, i was keeping moisture out.

Well take for instance:

What happens in the fall when you're driving your car without AC on? Windshield fogs up. How do you fix it? Turn on the AC and get air moving.
