There was a red one with Volans and IPD parts on the Denver craigslist the other day, but it seems to be gone now. Asking price was $7,000.

ya i seen that one and went and test drove it.... asking price is way to high.... tryn to get dude to budge but he wont! how is that 1998 u bought, running? i was gonna buy that one, but dude wouldnt budge on the price either.... if u dont mind, how much did u pay for it? and do u think honestly these cars are worth the money?($6000-7000 range?) let me know....

It's running beatiful. I haven't had to do any repairs. The oil pans o-rings are making a bit of a noise on cold starts, but apart from that it's a brilliant car.

Are these cars worth it 6-7k? I would say yes. At 100k miles, they have more than half of their life ahead of them (assuming FWD doesn't land you in a field or wrap it around a tree).
And depending on what you want it to look like - I was going to do Pegs, R interior, HID's, XC grille, 302 brakes, brace and all of that anyways. The fact that the previous owner had already done all of these saved me a lot of time. Plus, full service history is not to be sniffed at.

What is your budget, how much do you want to spend on a T5M? There are several Volvo specialist shops in the Denver area where all of the employees are enthusiasts, and they may have, or may know somebody selling a T5M.

my 98 v70t5m sold without me even wanting to sell it. for the price range you are looking at $6000-7000. i didnt even post it for sale, and now i look for one to buy and they all in the $4500+ for a good one.

$6000 was the selling price of paul newmans 98 v70t5m and that sold in a few hours on swedespeed

I had already driven 800 miles in a day and a half and a 3 hour detour didn't sound appealing The Volvo seats are comfortable, but I was ready to get off the road! I'll get down there one of these days. Could use some DWS before next winter.

To get back to the OP's request. Keep your eye on swedespeed. S70 T5m come up fairly often in the 4-6k range.

Looks like the red one is back for sale. Looking at its condition, mileage, IPD sways, catback, HID's and Volans...I would say it's worth at least $6,500. So the $7,000 he is asking is not totally unreasonable.

@gmsgltr, i tried to give him $6000'gs rite there on the spot! he would not take it, but i did talk to him yesterday and we suppose to meet again this weekend, hopefully he will show me some love this time..........................! I'm tryn, trust u me!
