So if someone wants to use this say in an 850, then they have to coil two 12 foot antenna cables behind their dash?

I thought you meant the cables from the HU to the amps in back.
They both unplug at the HU...Am I missing something?

When I first looked at the deck, I thought it looked like they were built in and just assumed there was a connection maybe 6 inches away from the unit. I never even bothered to just try pulling them from the back of the unit... it's been a long day.
