that's basically a 20 gauge slug with out the gun powder. Slightly smaller diameter that a 20g slug and @ the same velocity and impact...nice and quiet

Its basically.... .50 cal. A lot slower than .50 other than maybe .50 GI. And way slower than a 20ga. Still more than fast enough to mess someone up. Not that quiet though.

I was just estimating...IIRC a 20 gauge slug on average is @ 720 fps or so MV.. and what .62 diameter? so its close. I am sure its louder than your average Daisy but quieter (and not obvious what it is) than a 20g. it is interesting for some reason though

Yeah your right...my numbers wrong. its about 1/3 the velocity of a 20g slug

Maybe I should re-visit some of my re-loading info..

Agreed, spud gunnnnnn. All sorts of fun, and people don't get all upset when they see it.

Posted Image Prototype from oh-so-long ago. Worked like shit. Very tricky to get the fuel mix right. However, we did have fun shooting ice-loads from it. We had a smaller section of pipe kept in the freezer that we'd fill with water. The ammo is quick to biodegrade :P

Try number two:

Check out my sweeeet haircut. Barrel was threaded so you could separate it. Otherwise, it didn't fit in a sedan. But it would shoot rocks right through plywood like it was paper  And the boooom. Ohhhh the boooooooom. Also fun if you load it with ice cream sprinkles or confetti.

Looks familiar... Except I had an air compressor attached to the second one we built. About the same size as your second one though.

Co2 is less than 900 psi, and that is at higher temps.

The tubes on the bottom hold air. Valve releases air which pushes the slug out. I don't think that you should have a problem dropping it, even though Korean guns are said to have thinner than normal tubes.

They stay around 750-900 fps depending on tune, pellet weight, and shot number. Most only get 3-5 shots before power and POI drop. The .44 and .45 are actually more powerful than the .50 cal.
