you spelled dildo wrong. It's d-i-l-d-o. Not c-o-f-f-e-e.

seriously man, $500, you know it will need work. cant be very reliable unless you put money in it or else the other person wouldnt be selling it for $500. More than likely paint and interior is a little rough. Probably even salvaged title, so yes you can buy a car for $500 but dont expect much for $500. the saying that you get what you pay for is usually right. not always but usually

The point of those threads is this;

with a little elbow grease and parts you would replace with performance upgrades anyhoo, you can get a pretty kickass daily for less coin than those "mostly highway miles, starts every time" $3500 used car lot specials.

Most of which were bought wholesale for...you guessed it, $500..

Obviously not everyone can pull this off. Just like you can't help liking dark colored dildos.

I don't think ANYONE on this forum would think a $500 car wouldn't need work :rolleyes: Look at some of the cars on here purchased for 400-700 bucks and what people have done to them..remember this is a mostly DIY forum...sure beats going to a car lot and paying $3500 for a $500 car as Vagabond pointed out (and I agree).

Besides, I would rather have 1 $500 Volvo than 500 $1 McDonalds coffees OR black dildos...

Oh, and guess what? I am picking up a $400 Nautic Blue 97 855 this week..needs an exhaust manifold..I will be sure to post pics of it when I have it home.

then why are you a member of a DIY forum that focuses on 12-18yr old cars?
