How do I install one? The rails are in the way and thers isnt a manufacurtrere that sez their HU fits in my car.

ALso how do I get the damn thing wired? If the company I'm looking to install sez they dont make an HU for our cars how do I get the proper wire harness adapter?

TIA. Your Pops loves you.

You have to cut the rails out, I used a hacksaw blade.

For the harness just get the adapter for your car, no double din will have a Volvo application on the list because it won't fit unless you cut the rails. After that its just splicing the harness to the adapter and mounting the cage in the opening.

Thanks, I just solvced the problem by buying a single DIN unit from crutchfiled. SAme features, same RMS, just differnt display size. And $70 cheaper.

Ohh, nice harness. The HU I picked out is nothing especial. I just wanted something with a good Ipod interface with no extra BS. Tho it does have a pre out fer a Sub, so thats cool. No BT, HDR, XM needed.

On that note any recomendations for a good DIN pocket to clean up the dash? I cant seem to find one wtih any positive reviewes.
