Hello,
I have an '89 240 series sedan with the 5 spd M47 transmission. Its the eurpoean model, not US. The transmission will not shift into reverse. The ring seemd to lift fine. The prev owner told me that there is a micro switch somewhere on the sifter that is not working. My Haynes manual does not show any type of a switch. Has anyone ever had or heard of this problem? Thanks in advance!
