Will I need a tune, or a manual boost controller? Or will it just work, albiet a bit less efficiently.
It will accompany a new PCV system, ETM, head gasket, boost hoses and timing belt, water pump, tensioner and rollers.

Get a T5 ecu with white injectors. Or don't bother as it won't help you any. Why are you replacing it?

99-00 = Straight or Angled flanged (idk which one, i dont own one)
94 = Conical flanged hotside.
You would either need to swap DPs or housings to get it to work.

I beleive that is more accurate.
Not hard to just swap the turbo itself and leave the exhaust side alone.

I believe that's not accurate at all

...Anyway, 15G swap is a nice upgrade. Will have to leave the existing exhaust housing though (as mentioned).
Will not HAVE to upgrade the injectors or tune right away, it'll run fine in the meantime. It is recommended though (at least the tune; many will argue that the injectors aren't needed) to get the full potential of the upgrade. I drove my '00 for a few months after the 15G swap before installing blue injectors and a tune. Pulled a little harder, but max boost was the same...

I thought that 95 and 99 had a mix of both? i swear I've seen straight flange 95s and 99s.
The main question is are you replacing the turbo because you think it's bad or because you want to upgrade?

I wouldn't run a 15G on an ECU tuned for a 13T. As long as you just swap the compressor/center cartridge, you don't have to worry about the exhaust side at all.
Get an ARD tune for that turbo mated to your LPT motor and call it a day!

That's what I was thinking. The car is slow. If I could get a tune, bump the mileage and have a pinch more speed, I'd love that. I can swap the exhaust housing no problem.

Why year? And we are saying that you don't need to change the exhaust. Also talk to lucky about a tune fr 99-00 if that's what you have.
