Greetings all,
the motor blew to my 02 s40. I found a decent replacement but it is from an '00 v40. Is this a direct replacement? Or will it require modification?

I wanted an EVO but ended up with EVO chassis only

Thank you. I finally found a repair manual and hope to start next weekend. Any tricks to the trade with Volvo motor swaps I should be aware of? All I need to do is put my turbo on this motor before I put it in. My turbo is newer with only 70k miles on it. Thank you for all your help!

I haven't swap engine yet so I do not know. However, those guys on the other forum can help you. Tcode and carlos.
