Hi guys,
first and foremost, WOW, I'm thrilled by all the feedback I got and all of you wanting to help us develop wheels for your cars! It appears I have completely underestimated the strength of the Volvo community these past years (else I would have been around much, much earlier!)
To all those who replied to me via PM, I will reply back today, I just needed to share some generic information that everybody could use, about the process we employ for developing wheels.
Our production facility is located in Europe (Poland, exactly). Which means that sending us your wheel is mostly feasible if you store the car for the winter, have another one to use in the meantime or are looking at some maintenance downtime and could use it to kill two birds with one stone. Overall the process takes 4-5 weeks, mostly due to shipping (our local turnaround is within a week).
I'm pretty sure that will be a showstopper to some of you who replied via PM, those of you who don't mind the downtime please reply to me after I reply to you (today). When you do, please send me a picture of your wheel. We might be able to get one just like it locally, buy it and develop a wrap this way. If that is the case, you don't need to send us your wheel at all. You just need to pay for the wrap ($129), installation of one if you choose it ($100) and/or any options you choose (I will provide pricing on these when available, these include thumb grips and thickening the wheel also), and pay for the wheel we get locally (whatever we pay, usually $40-$80 depending on the wheel).
When we receive pictures of it installed, we will reimburse you for the wrap ($129) and you can also send us your wheel then to use as a core to be reimbursed the price we paid for the wheel.
So that is how the process works. You can of course choose to install these as a DIY project. There's a bunch of links we can help you with to those interested (it is kind of tedious but not technically hard at all):

and our YouTube channel:
http://www.youtube.c.../RedlineGoodsTV has some great videos showing each step of the way.
I'm going to reply to all the PMs now! Talk to y'all soon!

you should also consider having an option to add the thumb grips like the 2000 V70R's and the 04+S60R and V70R's did on non R steering wheels. that would be pretty cool, too.
We are working on it right now in fact, on another wheel. We expect to be able to not only thicken the wheels, but also provide the thumb grips.

I have a 960 wood wheel that could use a wrap. Do you think that's something you can do? Has inserts on the top and bottom that are wood.
Please PM/email me a picture I need to see how the wood comes together with leather!
Have a great day,
Maciek
