Hey guys, I'll be in San Diego for work for 10 days starting 1/30. Let me know if you're in the area, I got a bunch of free time. I don't know the area... Cali is one of 3 states I havent been to yet.

There are a few people down there, San Diego is about a 7 hour drive from the bay area so no go here. Now if you were bringing the wagon id be all over it

im in san diego, i dont have tons of free time, but i could show you around a bit, i know some good bars around town (and places to eat too)

We have a meet feb 4th come by. It'll be a small drive from there!

there are a few places you HAVE to see.

1. La Jolla....just ask around, and you'll find it...amazing beach and restaurants, etc.
2. Gaslamp...downtown...you can hit up The Yardhouse.
3. Mount Soledad is pretty cool, although it's only something you go to for 5 minutes, and then you're over it.
4. Coronado Island...go over the bridge, drive around on the island...nice little place...see the Hotel Del
5. lots of other cool things to do...Del Mar if you're into horse racing, lots of street racing going on overnight...you need to know where it is though....and i'm not recommending you getting into any illegal activity, hit up Rosarito if you have your passport with you!!!

Ha, no, no wagon. I don't even have it on Jersey roads yet I will however be in San Fran like the.... 12-15th. But I'll be with my Grandfather and Brother so I'm not sure if I'll be going out with out them haha....unless you wanna play tour guide? haha

thanks for all the tips. I'm actually staying in Gaslamp, right next to the baseball stadium. My friend who was stationed there for quite sometime also told me Hotel Del...and a bunch of places for taco tuesdays lol

La Jolla is a nice area for sure, but that's where my San Diego offices are so i just associate that place with work
Gaslamp is fun... Shout House is also a good spot (vulgar, dueling pianos)...

and I hear TJ is just lame these days...?

oh and tell your local friends you're going i failed to do that and came home to find out like 2 were right down the street from me the entire time i was there.

Totally forgot about Old Town!...amazing Mexican...there is one mexican restaurant, which is mostly outdoor and part indoor, and it has the best margaritas...wish i could remember the name of the place.
