I got a heater core from them back in the winter of 2010-2011, Mr. Rivera contacted me three weeks later to say they had sent me the wrong part. That was after installing the new one. I was just to busy at that time to deal with it and it didn't seem to be leaking immediately. It did start to leak heavily towards the end of last winter. I contacted FCP today to see if they would send me another one and they said that since I had not purchased warranty I was SOL. Good company but just like others out there, once they become big they don't care about the little guys.

That message was to the people that received the wrong part all together. If you were able to install it then it was the correct unit.

Also what is leaking as there are a lot of other failure points in that location.

So you've been driving around with a part you knew was incorrect for over a year? I understand a couple of weeks...

Do you at least have the original email telling you it was the incorrect part?

Agree with both Please Delete and Oreo - what's leaking (are you sure it's the heater core and not one of the couplers) and why should they refund you if you decided to drive with it in place for over a year?

If they sent you the wrong part, well hey that does happen. It shouldn't but it can. Pulling the heater core and replacing it is an hour tops - if you had explained that the part was already installed due to their mistake I'm fairly certain they would have shipped you the correct part before you returned the incorrect part so that you could accomplish the replacement without significant down time to your car.

You being not proactive in handling the situation is FCP's problem???

Even OEM part warranty is a year through a dealer, you have no right to be let down lol

I'm confused. It started leaking ~10 months ago? What have you been doing the last 10 months? Carpet just squishy all the time?

I talked to FCP about this when they emailed me the same thing. Of you installed the part then it was the correct unit...

I would completely disagree with you on that. Don't want to point fingers, but I would say this one is on you. They even tried to correct it. Cases like Burn-e's where Scot sends him an email just to see how things are going proves that they do care. Hell, even the conversation I had with Scot last night proves they care.

Eh, I ordered something from them last week, I accidentally (I just moved) spaced and wrote the wrong address for shipping. I immediately emailed them, was told to call on saturday from 10-4 and it will be taken care of.

I called them, was on hold for 20 minutes, left a message because nobody wanted to answer the phone- "I wrote the wrong address and UPS says the sender can update the address by using the website and it will be re-routed, can you call me be?" I got a call back (which I missed) and the message was a hang-up.

I called them back yet again no answer. Emailed them again and they said on Monday the address was updated. Long story short my package is sitting in the UPS facility awaiting sender action. Not happy.....

Granted it is my fault I spaced but still I do not like to hear "address was updated your all set" when they did nothing. Not ordering from them again, just my experiance

What should I do to take of this situation?
Thank you again

Hi there, I am unsure if it's because I tried to change the address a couple times. But there is an error with the address.

It is supposed to be LINCOLN RI 02865 and not Warwick RI

Is there anyway to modify the shipping ? Do I have to call UPS ,or... ?

Thank you-

When I order something, and I F up, I pretty much except he fact it could take a week to fix. Just cause your reading the ups update page doesn't always mean the situation isn't being handled

Oh no I have been in contact with UPS, in fact at least UPS picks up the phone. I was told by the rep today that I have to pick up the package because the sender did not update the address like I was told. No worries, again I made the mistake however you do not tell somebody its taken care of if its not is my point. I have to now drive 30 miles round trip to correct the problem rather than having the address updated >,<

I did use a coupon code, only reason why I did not choose IPD for this transaction (I have had great success with IPD for my P1 needs). I ordered a PCV system for my S70 T5 from FCP because it was 15% off
