I'm in the process of reinforcing my 93 - 94 aluminum control arms.

Before my welder gets started, he would like to know where the stress / weak points are on the arms in order to reinforce accrodingly.

Any guidance is appreciated.

These were just blasted:

Lighter then iron one, you can change ither way the bushing or the pivot depends on witch go loose, and you are not force to change the whole control arm.

Officially these arms also need different uprights which a slightly different shaped at the steering stop area.
As they are they perform well but hardly noticeable. Only advantage is the separate steering knuckle.
If you want to reinforce these I would say forget it and go for the steel arms.
