Hi guys, helping a friend whos black plastic brackets on the back of his door panel all seperated from the southern heat so nothing is holding the door panel in place. What is the best way to reattach brackets to door panels.

Hot glue guns works great. Thats what we used at the Volvo dealership. I think I even have some "Volvo" glue sticks around. But any will work. I reglued mine back together recently. I suppose epoxy will work also.

I used the "Goop" stuff that comes in a tube with good results. Does take some time to dry though vs. hot glue.

I'd use 2 part epoxy.

2 part epoxy comes apart after about a year in the southern heat and humidity. Try hot glue
