Just use speaker box carpet like you did and redo the trunk.

Thought about it but the cost to do that would be ridiculous... like $60 bucks to get enough material since its only 1 square yard for $13 and most panels are awkwardly longer than that. Not worth the effort for something minimal in my case.

Go to an audio shop. They have speaker box carpeting rolls everywhere. I bought enough carpet to do my whole trunk for like $10 cash
