I'm not sold on this idea but am considering a body swap in lieu of painting. So this is a feeler for what you have available...Been checking locally (South Carolina) but not much here...

Why...? The last paint job didn't turn out so well but it was not bad for my first ever paint job and my wife is tired of looking at it the way it is...please resist the urge to comment on this, I get enough shit over this at home...I am a decent DIY mechanic but a painter...not so much.

For what it would take to get a good complete strip and repaint job, it would be more cost effective to do a body swap with a car that has been well cared for but maybe has a dead motor...

looking for a very nice body with nice original paint and clean complete interior and all wiring etc in-tact such that a simple motor w/tranny swap can make it run again - plug and play.

MUST be 98 wagon and auto tranny.
Prefer well equipped T5, consider R with good tranny, or well equipped LPT ---N/A need not apply. XC is also not going to cut it for the wifey.

Exterior: prefer pewter or silver, consider laser blue, red, or black. Possibly white.

Interior: Black or charcoal. I don't do any tan shades so tan interiors need not apply.
(An no I don't want to do an interior swap)
