Title says it all really.
I'm looking to upgrade parts from better/newer models. These should get a few horses if it's possible.
If anyone has a list of other upgrade parts I can pull fairly easy at the junk yard please share.
Thanks

850R is the only thing that comes to mind that would be any different unless you have a low pressure turbo car...

850 LPT was only in '97 on GLT's.
'98 S70 T5M - Broken
'96 855R - IPD stg. 3
'95 854 T5-R - Slow

I know that, I was on my phone earlier so it didn't show his signature so I didn't see he had a 1995.

Hello. Would an ecu with no. 261 203 628 fit?
Also I heard a rumour that I may need to have the key that is paired with the ecu, is this true? or can I just get the t5r ecu and drop it in?
Thanks

Key thing is false. Any 850 turbo ecu will work + the 96-97 turbo ecu's give the bonus of egr delete. The tranny ecu swap will be of no benfit unless yours is inop.

If the ECU has a number like 261 203 628 it will work, this one is a 628 "R" ECU

keep in mind the ecu needs to have 203 on the middle set of numbers, this identifies it as Motronic 4.3
