    ok so my cousin loaned his cousin his n/a 850 for the weekend and this is what he told me that happened
    
    
    "i lent my cuz the volvo over the weekend..i get my stuff back now..and its puttering...like he screwed the engine

    its got the tics man...im wondering if he put the wrong gas in there...or drove it while th engine still cold...i will make a vid 2moro

    the check engine light has bin on since i got it tho....a mechanic told me i needed a b2 and b12...just googled the b2 which is the fan...not sure what the b12 is tho...you can still hear the normal engine sound but theres a loud ticking..."

im having him head off to get the codes scanned.

im fearing the worst for his car. i dont know what my other cousin could have done to screw the car up

he says it sounds like a tick that gets louder with higher rpms near the center of the engine.

he got it sorted it. it was lifter tick. thanks for the help everyone!
