I am getting ready to replace the front struts on my 1994 850 sedan. I noticed that in the Haynes manual indicated that if you are fitting a later steering knuckle to an older strut that spacer sleeves are required. Since I am not changing the steering knuckle but just installing new struts, I assume I do not need these spacer sleeves. Can anyone tell me if I am making a correct assumption? Thanks in advance.
