Hello all, long time(as in like 7 years). Anyway, im planning to do a manual swap into my '97 850T5 within the next month or two and would like to pick up either a complete swap set-up or possibly a 'mechanics special' m56h car or just bits and bobs here and there. Would like to find something in or around DFW, but more than willing to drive to Houston, Austin, San Antonio and anywhere inbetween. Looking to save on shipping as everything ive found is either east coast or west coast. LKQ quoted $900 just for the transmission from California, soooo yea. Craigslist has been bone-dry lately Thanks in advance!

I am more looking for just the transmission components, or a junk car to swap parts out of. Im going to be buying a house soon so wanting to save money from buying a good condition car since all i want is the trans and what-not. Thanks anyway though
