Has anyone torn their IPD CBV? Curious if you have and did you report it to IPD?

No problems since!!!!! It comes with a yellow green spring, but I bought the Forge spring kit, and now running the green yellow spring for the higher boost.

There has been much talk about the diaphragm rupturing. The entire reason I asked is that I called IPD yesterday for warranty information. They said that they have sold hundreds of these and only had one returned due to an installation problem. They had never seen one rip. I was shocked since I have heard so many times that it does happen. So my question was to anyone who had theirs rip...did they call IPD about it?

I talked to Lucky about it before he left IPD, and he told me to send it back for examination but I never got around to it. Not sure if I still have them or not. Yea, that diaphragm sucks!!! Like I said, after tearing 2 of them, I just said "f**k it" and bought something that can't tear.

is the one viva sells a genuine forge though?
the close ups show it engraved on it, but the description says nothing about it being a forge product and they advertise it as if it's a viva product..
with words like "our cbv upgrade kit..."
just asking if you got it and weren't pleasantly suprised it ended up being a viva-forge knock off (reverse engineered by viva or something).
i had an iPd seemingly not hold the boost targeted and lucky sent me another no questions asked - i didnt even send the old one back..
that was when Lucky was there though :o)

Dont get me wrong, they replaced it. I was just shocked at the 'we have never seen this' comment.

The piston type cbv from Viva for the K24 was original Forge. I would assume the one they are selling for the TD04 is also.

alright thanks 5.0

and Christian, i think you got the springs mixed up - it comes with GREEN and you upgrade to the YELLOW (@ least that's what is claimed on the viva site)
