Curious for a link to the leds you used.
most just use the led strip thats pre made.

And a photo of them with the lenses on, and hood shut.

I hate it on VW/Audis, and I hate it more on a Volvo

To each his own though, bumper lip does look hot though

I'm not a huge fan of LED strips on cars other than Audi when they first started but I do like the strips that you used. Most other cars as everyone is compelled to put them on now has the autozone/advanced auto parts ones that has like 6 bulbs spaces way the fuck apart and it looks shitty becuase you can see all 5 bulbs lit individually and doesnt actually make a uniform line or anything close to one. These do look good though but I am curious to how bright they actually are. They look super bright in the picture but I can't tell if its just because of the camera or if they are just bright as fuck.

To each their own and if I found a layout I liked I might be more interested. The hard part is that we have a 2 piece headlight / corner system so on other cars (the ones that are made with them already) have it so it follows the contour of the vehicle and actually includes the whole housing. It would be next to impossible to make it happen in the corner lights let alone make it look like one continuous line without noticing the break between corner / headlight

I like the way the driving lights look on the X70 series because it iluminates the whole housing. It looks sweet at dusk & dawn but you don't see it in the daytime. I wonder if someone could just make a 5/8" hole with a saw bit and then put them in a 850 just the same as X70s becuase that would be essentially the OEM Volvo twist to the all new LED strip rage except we did it back in 98 so we would be OG OG TRIPPLE OG

It has more of a glow effect rather then a strip, which would be sweet for DRL...

Kurt, I remembered you showed me how you did this at Carlisle a 2 years ago. Do you have a write up for it? Or can you make one? ^_^
