It took everything I had, but I finally convinced him to keep it and fix it. At least for a little while longer.

I vote PDR before tires - and its way cheaper. [/broken record]

Body color centers in matching Lunar Beige. Trust me for once.

Fitment looks perfect though to the millimeter.

Thanks for the comments, guys! Basically I acquired them through a trade deal for my Style 5's and got cash on top. They were brand new, never mounted, in the original boxes (stamped in 1990). I really wanted something different, and less busy...so when I got this offer email I jumped on it right away.

They're the 18x8.5 +18et version, which are very rare. Normally you'll find them selling for ~$1500 in 17" and those pop up often...so when I was presented with the offer for a set of basically non-existent 18's, I couldn't pass it up. To complete the look, I immediately ordered a set of "embossed logo" Flat Caps from Germany.

I'm planning to keep the centers silver and do a polished lip. Should be picking up tires this weekend and then I'll be fitting them so I can order spacers (fronts are like 1/4" from my air lines, and that sketches me out lol)

I've wanted a set for probably 4-5 years now, but everytime they go up for sale they're 17's. Couldn't pass these up since I was wanting to move back up to 18's anyways!

Not right now. I'm actually still planning to give it to my sister after summer, but I wanted to get the valve seals and other items fixed before then. So I'll be keeping the car for a little while longer :)

PDR will be getting done sometime before May, for sure. We have a mobile detailing company who gives our offices at work a discount. It's like $150 for the entire car or something like that. Definitely considering the color-matched centers, just depends on if my buddy can spray them for me. I'm sending my bumpers in for paint next month so maybe he can add the wheels in.

The wheel fitment is literally perfect. The front barrel is about 1/4" from my air line, so I'm planning to space the fronts out just a smidge. I've decided on Nitto Neogens (205/40) which should give me decent stretch. Once they're on I'll be able to do mesurements for spacers.

you keep getting the wrong type of wheels homie

what you really need are something called turbine and compressor wheels.
