I've had a '98 S70 GLT sedan & still have a '96 850 T5 wagon. Lately I've been wanting another wagon. Looking at the local Craigslist ads & found some nice looking V70's, but are mostly '99 & '00 models.
*If I remember right, didn't these have reliability (throttle body, electrical) issues?
*Any differences between the '99 & '00?
*Were there any Turbo models with a 5 speed?
*Would you suggest keep looking for a 1998 instead?

ETM and cat. Efficiency issues are the only two major ones.
The 5spd are rare as they didn't make as many in the 99-00 years. So as you know it's hard enough to find 98 5spds and ever harder to find the 99-00 in te 5spd.
Just don't get the 5spd automatics in those years.
