Me being up to my usual antics again...

Ignore the retarded button...I had the nice sunroof button from my S70, but it was broken (what a surprise...); so until the nice push button I ordered from Digi-Key comes in later this week, this is the best I can do.

Sweet! So when we're at all at Carlisle, it'll be easy for us to move your car far far away.

I could car less about where the car is. Problem is trying to relocate the owner.

We can all have a mini convoy out to dinner or lunch or something, and once we're at the restaurant, when he's not looking we'll all jump in our cars, and someone jump in his and quickly drive away.

wut? You turned a 1 second process of turning a key to start the car into a turn the key, flip the switch, hit the button, turn the key multi-step process? With the exact same outcome of the car turning on? I'm sorry, but I do not understand. Not one. Tiny. Bit.

i dont care who the op is but imo from a technical standpoint props for doing what he did. putting in a start button is prob better than most on here can say for themselves

i LOVE little creative mods like this.
a mod that i would consider more worthless than this would be to put a photoresistor somewhere and have it hooked up to my headlights with a circuit for an auto turn headlight on kinda ordeal. i think that would be a fun project to work on

i like how you did the install i just ask WHY NOT PUT IT IN THE GLOVEBOX. more james bond ya know!!

End answer to what I'm taking to Carlisle = not the 740.

It's been reduced to winter beater status now that I've got the DSM, so I gave up fixing it and am just keeping it going/messing with it. If I go to Carlisle at all (SoWo is the same weekend.) I'm prob. going to get a ride with someone. No point in bringing a DSM to an IMPORT show.

I really doubt there's someone who would give you a ride to Carlisle...
