We added the TA Coilovers to our catalog due to the interest expressed by some in the performance section a while ago.

I have installed one of these in my car for evaluation and so far I am impressed with the handling and performance. Its stiff but not too harsh over bumps. The suspension is only height adjustable, no dampening adjustment.

For installation I recommend installing brand new spring seats and either go with the IPD or XC90 version.

They are available now for $599 shipped (cont. US).

Some pics of the suspension installed on my car (it may settle more with more time, installed the previous night)

Justus, that rear seems higher than the setup you were sporting on Saturday. Were the photos before it settled or did you swap out your custom setup to show the standard height with the TAs?

These are pictures from the original install. Front and back are as low as they go without removing the helper spring or removing the adjustable seat in the rear.

I am now sporting a custom rear suspension, which I had on the car before too. Shocks and struts are still TA though.

The front can go a bit lower than what you see in the pics above, and a lot lower if the helper sping is removed. The rear is as low as it goes with the adjustable hat still in place, if that is taken out + the suspension settles in general it should go about 1/2" or so lower than pictured. The way you see it in the pics is the day after the install, with a ~30mile trip to work.

This is stock height on an S70 with 16" wheels and 205/55-16 tires to compare against Justus' photo. The drop is significant.Posted Image

Justus, I will post up pics of them on my car to add to it. When I do the wheels, I'll also take some pics of the components and what not.

Thanks, Gabe,

The MFG claims 50mm front/rear on certain models, but thats not the case for the sedans. I have not seen these on a wagon yet with additional weight in it.

I don't have anything in the trunk, no spare and no Jack. The car in general doesn't have anything in it. Its not my DD.

I don't have the spring rate per se. Here is the link for the German TUV certification that has some measurements in it.

Looking to buy suspension very soon. I would need to go lower in the rear thou without spending extra. Does anyone have pics of the rear TA's with the adjuster removed?

I would be running 16" wheels on a 850 with a 165/45 tire or so.

Are you trying to achieve a stretch on a 6.5" or something?
