Adam, these typesof horns should not be installed like that. Rule of thumb with these types of compressors, they need to be mounted verticle no horizontal. This compressor spins, kinds like a top loading washing machine. The way you installed them will cause unnecessary wear on one side of the motor. Also there is a air intake on the side of this compressor, mounting it like that will let more dirt and water in.
