Hello everyone just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. Just recently bought my first 96 850 Turbo. Have wanted one for awhile now and found one with 180kmiles for $2000. Finished stage 0 maintenance and she runs really good. Very soon i will be modding my car and plan on the following
*Tuned ECU
*FMIC after market of course with RIP kit
*Gauges mainly boost and A/F
*OBX Exhaust or i might make my own
*Might add a BOV but that would only be to annoy my neibhor with his POS civic lol.
Before this car i have only owned 70-78 camaro's and SUV's so im looking forward to this build and enjoying this car. Not looking to build a real racer but i want to be able to have alot of fun also. If anyone is selling a tuned ECU(no specific brand),RIP kit and gauges please let me know. Thank you and i look forward to being an active member here

Welcome, I have family in Lakewood.

Make sure you have an end goal in mind when it comes to the modifications, I would have done things differently if I would have known how far I was willing to take the car in the first place.

If you like the site, be sure to support it, anyway you can.

I picked a pretty circuitous route and arguably cheated slightly, but I'm going to get there

Thank you everyone. I already have the volvo bug lol. Bought the wife a 850 T-5 Wagon and i got my sedan. As to a end goal at this time im thinking mainly what i listed above. If after i get my initial goals all done and i want more power furthest i would take it would be a 19T and a nice tune. Not sure as to the max limits of these cars but i want something fun and that can easily wipe the smile off the honda drivers around here lol
